Stretch and Strength for the Breastfeeding Mother

Get ready to explore stretches and movement to help you breastfeeding clients grapples with the wrist and back pain that may accumulate postpartum. We will explore the stretches helpful for vasospasms/mammary constriction syndrome. Movement Heals!

Taya Griffin will lead a morning stretch yoga session on Saturday, October 26th and Sunday, October 27th, and throughout the coffee and lunch breaks.

Each stretch session will address each hot point of tightness that may accumulate in mamas body, which may include some of the following: neck pain, back pain, wrist pain, and stretches for Vasospasm/Mammary Constriction Syndrome.

Taya Griffin is an IBCLC and a Pre and Postnatal Yoga and Pilates Instructor in Toronto.

In 2007, she graduated from the Ontario College of Homeopathic Medicine with a Professional Diploma in Health Sciences and Homeopathic Medicine. From here, she practiced as a Homeopathic Practitioner with a special interest in pregnancy, pediatrics and women’s conditions.

In 2011, she graduated from the International Breastfeeding Centre/ Newman Breastfeeding Clinic’s Lactation Medicine Program and In 2014 became an Internationally Certified Board Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

She is currently in clinical practice at Kidcrew Lactation Clinic in Toronto and also has a thriving private practice: www.tayagriffin.com.
